Euroclear, a global leader in market infrastructure services (FMI), acquires a 49% stake in Inversis. With the incorporation of Euroclear, Inversis will accelerate its international growth strategy.

Opening of Inversis Luxembourg Branch

Acquisition of 40% stake in the equity capital of ADEPA Luxembourg, and acquisition of the institutional & depository bank business of Banque Havilland Luxembourg.

Adquisition of 100 % Openfinance, specialist in reporting, advisory and discretionary portfolio management for institutional clients

Closing of strategic agreement with Accenture to speed up the international business and as preferred IT partner in the transformation plan of the existing technical platform

Development of a new offering designed to support the diversification strategies of Insurance companies onto the financial distribution business and closing of agreements with Mapfre and Caser

Merger and integration of Bancoval

Acquisition of RBC’s Spanish subsidiaries (renamed as Bancoval after such acquisition)

Spin-off and sale to Andbank the former retail and private banking business unit of Inversis, subscribing simultaneously with Andbank a service agreement to provide Andbank with a full outsourcing covering banking and securities services

Banca March acquires 100% of Inversis shares

Development of a specific service offering for Swiss banks to provide in turn their Spanish resident clients base with the same tax benefits as if they were holding their investments locally in Spain, allowing Swiss banks to compete against Spanish local banks

Onboarding of Optima (Belgian Bank) as the first full outsourcing service agreement with a foreign customer. The agreement included advisory services on the design and investment management of a range of Luxembourg funds of funds which were tailored made to Optima’s end-clients

Banca March joins as institutional client and shareholder

Acquisition of Safei (Private Banking Business) from the Italian group Capitalia

Acquisition of HSBC Intermediarios Financieros to HSBC Group to consolidate with Inversis’ retail business

Incorporation of CAM and Cajamar as the first institutional clients and shareholders

Transformation of Inversis into a fully licensed bank

Inversis starts operations under a broker-dealer license

Opening of the first retail branch in Madrid
